New Hours Sundays all day Private Public Socialization Instruction We now offer one on one lessons in public places to instruct you and your dog on how to behave in petstores, vets offices, dog parks, etc. $95 per hour Training for the Pregnant Parents Train your dog or puppy to welcome the newest human addition before he or she arrives. Price based on location of lesson, see below Behavior Modification for the Aggressive, and Possessive Learn how to modify your behavior. By doing so, your dog will modify his or hers. Price base on location of lesson, see below. $$$Share a Lesson with a Friend for Half Price One hour divided by two, is $45 a person, in your location or $20 a person in our facility In-Home Training: These days, with Mom and Dad both running several different directions, it is sometimes difficult for both concerned parents to match schedules long enough to go to puppy classes. Paws-itive Pet Dog Training offers lessons with puppy and you, in the privacy of your own home, at a time that is convenient for everyone. 6 one hour lessons $540 prepaid A$30 savings Hourly $95 Our Facility Training: Clients can save money by scheduling private lessons at our training facility. 6 one hour lessons $240 prepaid A $30 savings Hourly $45 Dogs as Reading Partners for Kids: This free service brings kids and dogs together in your home for home schoolers, to enhance their reading skills, and social skills. Kids are matched one on one with a special dog that lays quietly, and listens to the child read. Books are chosen and approved by teachers for specific age and skill levels. A grrrrreat confidence builder for kids! Overview A note before you read further.... Many people want their dogs to behave paws-itivley perfect in every situation, almost like robots. Unfortunately, this can only happen with many, many hours of training with a gentle, experienced trainer. Puppies and dogs learn quicker, in a quiet environment, with little or no distraction. Socialization with other dogs is important, however, if a dog is permitted to play with each and every dog or person he or she meets, then your dog will be conditioned to expect to play with each and every dog or person you encounter. Make sure the classes you attend teach your dog how to politely say hello, and how to sit and stay while guests, or other dogs are present. While group classes are more affordable for some people, too much play and improper introduction to distractions can send the wrong message to your dog, and be a waste of time and money for you, the owner. Most pet dog owners do not train their dogs everyday, even though they are told to do so. If I, the trainer am not their in their home to instruct each day, they put training off. Every moment you spend with your dog is a training opportunity. From how you enter and exit doorways, to how he greets your guests, and other dogs at the pet store or vet's office, you lay the groundwork everytime your dog experiences something new. Paws-itive Gift Certificate - CLICK HERE What you will need for private lessons 1. - A healthy, properly vaccinated puppy or dog and proof of vaccinations. 2. - Soft treats (about the size of a pea, you may need to cut them). 3. - A 4 to 6 foot leash and a buckle collar. 4. - A Paws-itive attitude. 5. - If your canine has vomited, or had diarrhea in the last 24 hours, please call your vet before attending class. 6. - No retractable leashes or chain leashes. 7. - No aggressive dogs. 8. - A signed copy of the terms of service contract.
